A violin by Luigi Soffritti, Ferrara 1890 One-piece back of medium and irregular curl, varnish of a brown-orange colour. Woodworm' signs restored in a band and in the back, now in good condition. Handwritten label «LUIGI SOFFRITTI fece / Ferrara Anno 1908», there are at least two or three labels similar to this one, applied on authentic instruments, but dated to a time later than the master's death's date, probably put by the son Ettore (lenght of the back mm 355).
