It is a splendid collection of particular scenes of Roman life, customs, traditions, ceremonies, events and Roman peculiarities seen and experienced during a year's stay in the city.   Folio (405 x 278mm). Title with black and white lithographic vignette, 72 numbered plates, engraved in lithograph and handcoloured, the text with the explanation of the individual plates precedes the iconographic apparatus (foxing). Remnants of contemporary half leather (rubbed, rebacked and restored).
