Early 16th-century giuntina edition in contemporary binding and full of woodcut vignettes, extremely difficult to find on the market, no records of this edition are reported in RBH. The authorship of this collection of postilla, first printed in Augsburg in 1472, is still a matter of debate today. 3 parts in one volume, 4to (219 x 150mm). Printer's device on first title printed in red, third title with large woodcut illustration, numerous woodcut illustrations in text (marginal waterstains to first and final gatherings, browning and foxing). Contemporary calf with blindstamped and gilt decorations on covers (rebacked with later vellum, rubbing, some chipping and wormholes). Provenance: "Accedit in calce Passio.. nostru Jesu Christi" (contemporary annotation on title) - early illegible ownership inscriptions on title and endpapers - early annotations and underlining. It was not possible to find a collation, our copy is collated as follows and corresponds to what is indicated in the register: π4, 2A-2N8, A-H8 I4, a-h4 (blank h4).
