FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions


1) Is my registration on Il Ponte Live valid for both auctions of Via Pontaccio and Via Vascello?
Registration is unique and valid for both venues and all auctions.

2) How long after my registration will I receive the confirmation email from the Asta Live team?
Within 24 hours from your registration on the platform, you will receive a confirmation email from our Asta Live team who will verify the accuracy and validity of the documents sent.

3) What documents should I send during the registration process?
A valid identity document.

4) How can I watch the auction?
From the homepage, by clicking on the Live Auction section, 15 minutes before the sale starts a dedicated button to follow the sale as a viewer will appear.

5) How can I submit some pre-sale offers? Until when am I able to do it?
To submit one or more online bids, please visit the online catalogue of the auction, select the lot of your interest and click on “Register or login to bid on lots”. Once logged as MyPonte user, please click on the “Send bid” button, selecting the kind of bid you wish to submit (telephone or written bid). It will be possible to send bids no later than 9am on the day of the auction.

6) I made a wrong pre-sale bid. How can I delete it? 
To delete a registered bid, you need to login to Il Ponte Live platform, enter your MyPonte profile, access the “Bids” section and select the basket icon to delete it.

7) I forgot the password to access Il Ponte Live platform. 
It is possible to recover your password during the login process by clicking on “Forgot your password?”. The “Password recovery” screen will appear and you'll be asked to insert the email address used during registration to receive an email with a new password. The new password will be active on Il Ponte Live platform within a few minutes.

8) I was assigned a bid limit. How can I raise it?
You can raise your bid limit by contacting the Asta Live team directly at asta.live@ponteonline.com or by phone: +39 028631415 and +39 028631451.

9) If I have registered for an auction, is my registration valid also for other auctions?
Registration is unique and valid for all auctions.

10) How long before must I register to participate in an auction?
It is possible to register to participate in an auction at least 24 hourse before its start.

11) Once inserted my information, can I edit them later?
You can edit your account information (addresses, phone, etc.) directly from MyPonte account, after logging in, by clicking on “Account information” in the menu on the left and saving the new data.

12) I would like to edit my Il Ponte Live password. How can I do it?
You can edit your account password directly from your MyPonte profile, after logging it, by clicking on “Change password” in the menu on the left.

13) What does the star icon on the lot page refer to?
By clicking on the star icon, inside the lot page, you can save one or more lots of your interest as favorite ones. Once logged in MyPonte profile, the lots saved as favorites will be available on the “My bookmarks” section in the menu on the left under “Lots”.
