RICH. RAYMENT St. EEDMUNDS BURY Briar-veneered long case clock, face clock with 5 dials. In the lower part there are 4 dials arranged vertically. In the upper part, the dial with Roman numerals for the hours and Arabic for the minutes with the cartouche of the manufacturer Richard Rayment (1686-1754). The clock marks the hours, the minutes and the seconds with a central hand. England second quarter 18th century. Three-train movement chiming on a ten bells carillon with four airs.
