The titles are dated 1842, while the editorial bindings are dated 1845.   2 volumes, 8vo (233 x 155mm). Half-titles, 38 engraved lithographic plates with contemporary handcolouring depicting views, scenes of life, customs and Chinese work activities (some foxing to text leaves and light browning, paper flaw at p. 291 of vol. 1 which causes the loss of a few letters). Editorial green boards printed in black and dated 1845 (some wear). (2)
