Although the British commercial requests were rejected, the mission managed to gather a wide range of informations about the country and the report written by Staunton is considered among the most extensive after those of the Jesuit missions of the previous centuries.   6 volumes, 8vo (185 x 110mm). 6 engraved frontispieces, an engraved plate and 3 folded maps (some spotting, in the sixth volume I1 bound by mistake at the end of the gathering).
