The first part was first published in 1642 while the 'Pars Altera' was printed for this edition.   2 parts in one volume, 4to (207 x 154mm). Engraved frontispiece, woodcut vignettes on the two titles, 34 mainly full-page engraved illustrations signed Jo. Georg. sculps. and Ruffonus f., the illustrations generally included in the collation apart from n. XXII which is a plate (foxing and browning). 18th-century marbled paper backed in vellum, manuscript title on spine (rubbed and with some wear).
