Basel: Thomas Guarin, 1575.   A fascinating copy richly annotated by the contemporary Claudio Bicheti Bizantini of Besancon whose ownership inscription is on title. The copy then passed into the hands of Robert Rosirinsio? and later remained in the Besancon area as evidenced by the stamp of the Diocese.   8vo (160 x 108mm). Printer's device on title, woodcut initials (some soiling and light browning, some wear to the corners of the first leaves). Contemporary vellum, manuscript title on spine (some wear). Provenance: Claudi Bicheti Bizantini (contemporary ownership inscription from Besancon on title unfortunately slightly cropped due to a tear in the lower corner) - Robert Rosirinsio?
