Il manoscritto Francais 112(3). Rome: Treccani, 2022.   A reproduction of the codex containing the narration of the saga of the Round Table dated to 1470 and preserved in the Bibliotheque nationale de France. The work is enriched by 133 miniatures and was created by the copyist Micheau Gonnot for Jacques d’Armagnac, Duke of Nemours and illuminated by Évrard d’Espinques to whom other important illuminated manuscripts of chivalry are attributed. Great space is given to the representation of the tournament and battle scenes, which are reserved for accurate large-scale miniatures, which accentuate the warlike component of the narrative.   (440 x 310mm). Copy no. 6 of 299. Detailed colour reproduction of the original codex. Leather binding with gilt decorations preserved within an editorial box. With the commentary volume.
