[Rome: ca.1570].   An excellent copy of this map representing northwestern Belgium and the southwestern part of the Netherlands. Duchetti's map is based on Jacobus Bossius' map of the same name, published in Venice in 1555, by Michaelis Tramezini and Bossius' work is in return taken from Gerard Mercator's 4-sheet map of Flanders, published in 1540.   (386 x 522mm).
