Printer's device on title, woodcut initials, portrait of Dante in A2v, full-page woodcut illustrations at the beginning of each Canticle (burnholes on title, some browning, stains and some wormholes, more invasive to P4-R2 although mainly in the lower margin, some small repairs especially to the first leaves, lacking A5 and final leaves of the Table: 2M7-8, 2N4, the woodcut of Hell with a stain in the upper margin and probably from another copy). 19th-century red half calf, gilt spine, marbled paper covers (light wear). Provenance: Guicciardini Giuseppe dei Casoni di Sotto (ownership inscription on final leaf).
