Half-titles, engraved vignettes on titles, woodcut headpiece at A1, title in red and black in the first volume, woodcut initials and headpieces; the collation in the fourth volume is not the same in SBN but the text seems to be complete and the collation is as follows: ast⁴ A-2A⁴ 2B-2E² a-c⁴ d⁶ A-3C⁴ 2D-2F² (occasional browning and spotting especially in the second volume, small wormtrack at the inner margin of gatherings Tt-Yy of third volume not touching text, occasional light soiling and tiny marginal tears not touching text). Contemporary mottled calf, gilt decorations and title on spine (defects). Provenance: wax seal on endpaper - removed an bleached stamp on endpapers and titles. (4)
