[Venice: Giambattista Albrizzi, ca. 1740].   A fascinating collection of engravings by Francesco Zucchi depicting the main monuments and places of interest in Venice. The first part of the work contained 47 engravings, while the second (not present here) 49; our copy has 53 excellently inked engravings.   Oblong 4to (200 x 255mm). 53 engraved plates including a double-page map of Venice probably corresponding to the 47 plates of the first part dedicated to the churches and with the remaining plates mainly dedicated to the islands in the Venetian laguna (first two leaves shorter and with lower margin uncut, some light soiling). Modern half calf signed by Giulio Giannini, Florence, gilt fillets on covers, gilt title on spine, lower margin uncut, the others speckled.
