Contemporary vellum, gilt title on spine label, coloured edges (very light rubbing and soiling). Provenance: "Sola virtus vera nobilitas" (bookstamp of the Martelli family on endpaper). Woodcut headpieces and initials (without final gathering V4 (-V4) consisting of 3 leaves and called for in SBN although the work ends with "il fine" and we weren't able to find the gathering in any digitized copies; wormholes on the inner margin of the first and final leaves, occasional light foxing and soiling). Contemporary vellum, manuscript title on spine, red speckled edges (very light rubbing, tiny wormholes, traces of woodworm to endpapers). Provenance: "Sola virtus vera nobilitas" (bookstamp of the Martelli family at the end).   Two first editions, both in contemporary vellum, in excellent condition. (2)
