Palermo: Stamperia reale, 1789.   An interesting work on the collections of the Botanical Garden in Palermo, with indication of genus, species and possible medicinal uses. The list, ordered according to the Linnaean system, presents the scientific name in Latin and its correspondent in Sicilian dialect.   4to (196 x 134mm). Title with engraved vignette, woodcut initials and decorations (some foxing and browning). 19th-century half calf, title on label and gilt decorations on spine, yellow edges (some wear, slight losses on extremities, small hole on spine).
