Naples: Regia Tipografia di Egidio Longo, 1631.   First edition, rare on the market, of the Jesuit Trotta's work on the calculation of time, enriched by numerous woodcut illustrations and timetables.   2 parts in one volume, 4to (245 x 185mm). Jesuits' device on title, woodcut initials and headpieces, many woodcut illustrations (browned, wormholes on final leaves with loss of a few letters, marginal waterstaining to first and final leaves, few marginal paper flaws). Contemporary vellum, manuscript title on spine (spine detached from the textblock, stains, wormholes, rubbing and chipping). The copy corresponds to the issue described in IT\ICCU\UM1E\008241 and not to the other copies present in SBN which contain pagination and collation errors.
