For the composition of the work, the author uses important sources, including the Epistula de urbis Constantinopoleos excidio by Leonardo di Chio.   4to (200 x 135mm). Engraved portrait of an Ottoman prince on title, woodcut initials and headpieces, several engraved portraits (title reinforced, following 3 leaves and final 2 reinforced at outer margins covering some wormholes, few tiny wormholes occasionally touching text without compromising its legibility, some paper flaw and small tear sometimes touching a few letters, occasional light staining, foxing and browning). 19th-century quarter calf, gilt titles and decorations on spine, blue speckled edges (minor rubbing).
