De Dominicis Gino

DE DOMINICIS, Gino (1947-1998) - Gino de Dominicis. Rome: Edizioni Galleria L’Attico, 1970.   An excellent copy of this catalogue and artist's book difficult to find on the market and published on the occasion of the De Dominicis exhibition at the Galleria l'Attico in Rome in 1970. The famous image on the cover reproduces "Necrologio", the mortuary poster published the previous year in a modified and reduced version. Inside there is a text by De Dominicis "Lettera sull'immortalità" in Italian and English and various images of the exhibition and of his works. There are no other copies available on the market; it was surely printed in a small number of copies and probably partly lost due to the destructive habits of De Dominicis.   Oblong folio (234 x 331mm).
