The collection, enriched by numerous engravings including two fine maps, is followed by the work "Siciliae Historia posterior".   2 parts in one volume, folio (300 x 205mm). Engraved frontispiece for each part, two titles, one of which with printer's device, two engraved portraits of the author, woodcut initials, full-page engraved illustrations and two maps of Sicily and southern Italy, woodcut printer's device on first colophon and engraved device at end (first four leaves and a1-2 slightly cropped at outer margin, tiny hole in the lower margin of the first three leaves and a few other occasional holes rarely touching text without compromising its legibility, restoration in L4 and e2-4, marginal tear in a1, somewhat invasive reinforcements and restorations to final gathering, some light spotting and foxing, browning sometimes heavier). Later half vellum, title on label and gilt decorations on spine, speckled edges (some losses especially on spine).
