An elegant large-format calf binding which must have contained an antiphonary, as indicated by the cartouche on the cover. 15th-century calf, metal studs on the corners and in the center of the covers, two ties for closure, vellum scroll with manuscript inscription "Antiphonarium a festo Sancti Petri Martyris usque ad nicula Sancti Petri apostoli ?" on the cover (lacking vertical ties, some worming, chipping and rubbing). Sold as a binding only.
