[BINDING] - Etichetta della Real Corte delle Due Sicilie. Naples: Angelo Trani, 1808.   A splendid copy in elegant straight grained red morocco and printed on blue paper of this work about the rules issued by Gioacchino Napoleone (1767-1815) aimed at regulating roles and life of the court of the Two Sicilies. Our copy belonged to the Queen consort Julie Clary, wife of Giuseppe Bonaparte, ruler of Naples and of Spain as well as Napoleon's brother.   4to (285 x 210mm). Printed on light blue paper (very light marginal staining and foxing). Red straight grained morocco signed "P. Claessens fils" on dentelles, arms of the Queen consort of Naples within a floral frame on the front cover, titles on label and gilt decorations on spine and on dentelles, marbled endpapers (slight foxing to edges, very light loss at corners and spine). Provenance: Julie Clary (1771- 1845; Queen of Naples and Spain, gilt arms on front cover).
