This specialized work, born from the author's passion for the subject, is extremely precise and practical to use, equipped with useful indexes and glossaries in Latin, French and Italian. Also noteworthy is the frontispiece depicting a knightly tournament, designed by Andrea Barbiani (1708-1779) and engraved by Pietro Monaco (1707-1772).   Folio (320 x 232mm).
