Cologne: eredi di Pierre Marteau, 1712.   A very difficult edition to find on the market of this fascinating work in three parts dedicated to the vicissitudes of Faust, from his pact with Mephistopheles to his reconciliation with God. The volume is complete with the frontispiece engraved by Jacobus Harrewijn (1660-1727) depicting Faust surrounded by ghosts. According to Brunet this would be the translation from German of a title published in 1587 in Berlin and 1588 by Spiess in Frankfurt. Brunet II, 1195.   12mo (135 x 75mm).
