PETRARCA, Francesco (1304-1374) - con commento di Francesco FILELFO (1398-1481) - Sonetti e Canzoni. Venice: Reynaldus de Novimagio and Theodorus de Reynsburch, 1478.   A renowned work by Petrarch printed in Venice in 1478, unfortunately lacking the final leaf with the colophon. It is sometimes found published together with the Triumphs printed on 6 February of the same year, but is described as a separate work in BM V, 254.   Folio (270 x 180mm). (Lacking final leaf o6 with colophon, some occasional stains and a few sporadic paperflaws). Modern binding reusing antique vellum. Provenance: washed with some early annotations still visible.
