Rodolff Wolffen, 1616.   An interesting illustrated work dedicated to the Grisons, full of woodcuts depicting views, historical events, coats of arms, rulers, which belonged to and passed from hand to hand to noblemen from Valtellina. Remarkable engraved frontispiece, which includes small views of Augsburg and Chur. Unfortunately lacking the maps.   Folio (293 x 185mm). Engraved portrait of the author on frontispiece, engraved title, many woodcut illustrations (lacking 5 engraved maps and 5 folding genealogical trees, title relaid, restorations at frontispiece's verso, half of leaf )(1 restored and manuscript, occasional tears to lower margin which sometimes touches text, browning). Modern vellum, gilt decorations and title on spine, within a paper slipcase (slipcase worn). It was not possible to find a collection, our copy is as follows: )(6 (-)(6), A-2N6, 2O4, 2P6(-2P6), *6, 2*8.
