The plates at the end of the volume were engraved by Filippo De Grado based on drawings by Alessandro d'Anna (1746-1810) and include, in addition to depictions of some finds, a detailed map of the island.   4to (205 x 125mm). Engraved vignette on title, woodcut initials and tailpieces, 9 engraved folding plates at end (heavy foxing, browned plates). Modern boards, uncut, contemporary decorated wrappers preserved (defects at joints). Provenance: illegible bookseller's ticket at endpaper.
