[ma primo frontespizio datato 1735].   A copy with an unusual setting of this military treatise adorned with plates: the text is printed in a larger font than usual and the pagination is therefore more consistent. The work is accompanied by the addition published separately in 1752 and printed on pages 397-426, but the collation between the original work and this supplement is continuous: this could therefore be a printing made to join the two parts into a single publication.   4to (284 x 210mm). Woodcut device on first title, text within woodcut border, second title dated 1752 at 2B7, 10 (of 11) folding engraved plates (without plate 5, waterstain and marginal wormtracks at upper corner of gatherings A-R , waterstain on the upper margin of plates numbered 10 and 11, light browning, occasional spotting). Contemporary boards backed with decorated paper (wear especially to spine). Our copy has a different collation with respect to SBN or other digital copies consulted: *4, A-2C8, 2D6.
