Each plate is also accompanied by captions in Venetian dialect.   Folio (376 x 265mm). Engraved title and plate index, 60 numbered engraved plates (lacking the plate containing the Memoir and half-title, plate 14 with tear to upper blank corner touching engraving, caption of plate 6 faded and illeggible, light foxing and occasional soiling). 20th-century half-calf, gilt decorations and title on spine (rubbing and scratches at spine and corners). Provenance: "In spe offendere nescit. Elia" (armorial bookplate at endpaper).
