The endpapers are also sumptuous, blindstamped and gilt on purple paper with elegant floral motifs.   8vo (195 x 126mm). Printer's device on title, woodcut headpieces and initials, 4 engraved plates (restored tears on the verso of F2, a few marginal tears, light browning and occasional foxing). Splendid red morocco with rich gilt decorations on covers and spine, coat of arms of the Bourbons of France, gilt edges, embossed and gilt endpapers (light rubbing and some small marginal restorations). It was not possible to find a collation, our copy is collated as follows: a4 a8 e8 A-2S8 2T4.
