English manufacture, 18th century. Pair of small porcelain bowls painted in polychrome blue background with half-moons in gold, external profile and three medallions bordered in red with Arabic inscriptions taken from the Koran, ring foot with polychrome floral band decoration also present in the inner edge (d. cm 8; h. cm 4,5) (defects)   A similar model is kept at the Topkapi Palace collection, Istanbul.   For comparison see: J.
