TULLIO D'ALBISOLA (1899-1971) - Bruno MUNARI (1907-1998) - L'Anguria lirica (lungo poema passionale). Presentazione di Marinetti (dell'Academia d'Italia). Chiarimento di V. Orazi. Illustrazioni di Bruno Munari. Rome and Savona: Edizioni Futuriste di Poesia, senza data [ma 1933?].   An extraordinary symbolic book and one of the fundamental works of the Futurist movement, renown both for Bruno Munari's illustrations and for the binding and printing on tin.   Only very few copies are available on the market: the edition of 101 actually printed saw only 50 on the market. It is the second and final litho-tin book published after "Parole in libertà futuriste olattive tattili termiche" by Filippo Tommaso Marinetti and Tullio d'Albisola in 1932. The term lito-latta was coined by the industrialist Vincenzo Nosenzo of Savona, a manufacturer of metal food cans printed in lithography; the dedication in the book is to him "to the friend captain. brilliant bold dynamic industrialist creator of the lito-latta futurist publisher unique in the world". The book is Munari's third editorial work and was exhibited and awarded in Paris at the exhibition of decorative graphics. Andel, Design d'impaginazione d'avanguardia 1900-1950, p. 115; Cammarota, Futurismo, 135.2.   8vo (195 x 155mm). Printed on 21 sheets of tin, including cover, with 12 full-page lithographs by Bruno Munari. Editorial binding with a tin cylinder spine (minimal signs of wear, cylinder a little oxidized, slight dents and scratches).
