When precious materials meet elegance and craftsmanship, the outcome is obvious in the objects of desire such as those proposed in the Jewellery auction of 21, 22, 23, 24 June 2021 at Palazzo Crivelli.

Bright colours, tradition and quality are the common denominators of the splendid jewels from many important collections, which stand out like “diamond tips” for the appointment on 21 June. These are followed by other precious items of great interest for a public of enthusiasts, distributed in a three-day auction sale (22, 23, 24 June) and which, for variety and quantity are duly represented in a separate catalogue.

Peaks of excellence in goldsmithing are reached with the lots signed by the master Alfredo Ravasco, whose refined handicrafts dare beyond all limits in the combination of materials: from the malachite bowl on an ebonized wooden base with a chiseled silver peacock (lot 131 , estimate € 7,000 - 12,000) to the lapis lazuli box with marine elements (lot 133, estimate € 16,000 - 20,000).

Peculiar proposals from celebrated Maisons are the Cartier duckling brooch (lot 135, estimate € 8,500 - 12,000) and the "Ballerina" brooch by Van Cleef & Arpels (lot 101, estimate € 12,000 - 16,000), metaphorical reference to Tchaikovsky's famous ballet, authentic rarities for the collector's market.

Unmissable in every appointment are the diamonds and coloured gems, many of these enhanced in rings with Burmese rubies (lot 167, estimate € 18,000 - 25,000) and with Burmese and Sri Lankan sapphires (lot 163, estimate € 19,000 - 25,000), emeralds of various origins and dimensions, among which the oval of ct. 30 (lot 103, estimate € 12,500 - 15,000). A list of wonders that continues with the elegant diamond-set white gold modular necklace centered by seven oval sapphires (lot 106, estimate € 15,000 - 20,000), the pendant signed Piccini with an old European round-cut diamond of ct. 9.11 (lot 123, estimate € 28,000 - 35,000) and the three-strand natural pearl necklace (lot 161, estimate € 16,000 - 20,000).

Among the highlights on 22-23-24 June we find various jewels with corals and peculiar floral compositions signed by Romolo Grassi, while the new frontier of modern jewellery ranges from the unmistakable design of Bulgari and Buccellati to the whimsical creativity of Pomellato and Vhernier.
