The ethereal allure of the human figure, both symbolic and mythological, stands out in two paintings by Giovanni Carnovali (lots 106 and 107), better known as “Il Piccio”, while the tactile materiality of sculpture is exalted in works such as “La dea” by Émile-Antoine Bourdelle (€ 3,500 - 4,000) and the monumental “L’aratro” by Davide Calandra (€ 1,500 - 1,800).
