On 5 March 2025, Millon Auction Group will launch an innovative and dynamic auction format, broadcast live: two cities, two auction houses, one single catalogue.
#CheekToCheek was chosen as the name to evoke the perfect, harmonious, and captivating synchrony of the timeless duo Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. A pas de deux, both disciplined and choreographed, where the Milan and Paris branches come together for a single, coordinated event.
In just one day, during a unique live session, the auctioneers will symbolically pass the hammer from one city to another, gathering bids from collectors and enthusiasts in a kind of artistic journey.
With the #CheekToCheek auctions, MAG aims to establish a regular event, currently focused on jewellery, offering its clients an international experience alongside the traditional biannual events. Thanks to this new initiative, sellers will have the opportunity to present their jewellery to a much larger audience on the first Wednesday of each month, while buyers will be able to take part in a regular event, which becomes an unmissable opportunity to discover unique pieces they might have otherwise missed. This new format thus provides consistent visibility for sellers and a continuously stimulating and dynamic buying experience for buyers.
