The appointment with the auction of Watches, on the 15th December at Palazzo Crivelli, presents in the catalogue unique pieces signed by prestigious brands: Rolex, Patek Philippe, Cartier, Piaget, Omega, Bulgari, Longines and Zenith 


Emblem of watchmaking lovers is the Patek Philippe, Chronograph-Register Somazzi Ref. 1579 (lot 377, estimate € 45,000 - 50,000), a men's model in 18K gold with manual winding movement, one of the very rare 470 pieces produced by the company since 1943, characterized by "spider lugs" introduced by the innovative designer Wenger. This authentic top lot is followed by various highly sought-after Rolexes, including two true collectors' items related to the sports chronometer family.

A Rolex Submariner with ref. 5512 (lot 378, estimate € 35,000 - 40,000) characterized by an evocative "eagle beak" crown protection. A very well-known model, whose rarity is strengthened by the year of production, 1959, the same in which it was presented to the public for the first time, and by the presence of the "red" triangle on the bezel insert. The excellent preservation and the attractive tobacco-like colouring of the dial make this wristwatch even more valuable. From the 1990s and inspired by the world of sailing, the Rolex Yacht-Master in gold ref. 16628 (lot 374, estimate €10,000 - 12,000) embodies the very spirit of this sport by combining exceptional style and functionality with the brand's most advanced technologies.

Two pieces signed by the historical maison Vacheron Constantin celebrate the art of haute horlogerie: a chronograph with ref. 49740/423J (lot 376, estimate € 13,000 - 15,000) and a men's wristwatch ref. 42050/423J (lot 375, estimate € 8,000 - 9,000), both in 18K gold, sports models Overseas of the '90s. Among the proposals dedicated to women, an elegant Bulgari Tubogas (lot 354, estimate € 7.000 - 8.000) signed G. Genta in the case and characterized by a refined white dial and a bracelet made of three different golds: yellow, white and pink.
