The auction dedicated to Furniture and Old Master Paintings, held from 25 to 27 March 2025, concluded with a total turnover of over € 1,6 million , 77% of lots sold, and a 134% increase on pre-sale estimates.
The undisputed top lot of the sale was Vanitas with Winnowing Fan, attributed to the Castilian School of the early 17th century, which achieved € 256,000. Its complex iconography and masterful execution captivated collectors and connoisseurs alike.
Remaining within the sphere of Old Master paintings, the gold-ground section recorded notable results, including Madonna and Child with Saint Julian the Hospitaller and Saint Anthony Abbot from the Florentine School (€ 20,480), The Coronation of the Virgin and Child, attributed to a master active between Veneto and Emilia (€ 17,920), and Madonna Enthroned with Child and Angel Musicians, dating to the late 16th century (€ 17,920).
Among Renaissance works, Madonna and Child from the workshop of Francesco Francia stood out (€ 28,160).
