Sculpture was the highlight of the sale, typified by two exceptional masters: Lucio Fontana with the bronze "Concetto spaziale, Natura" of 1959-1960 (sold for € 625,000) and the terracotta "Crucifixion" dated '54 (sold for € 187,500), followed by Fausto Melotti with his evocative 1975 "Ombre vaganti" (sold for € 137,500). The attention paid to the second futurism is exceptional, spotlighting Renato Di Bosso's "Balilla" (sold for € 125,000) and closing the sculpture parenthesis with Igor Mitoraj's "Centaur" (sold € 125,000).
