An appointment of international relevance for modern and contemporary art, with results exceeding € 5.7 million, 91% of lots sold and a 181% increase on starting prices.

Three auction sessions with intense and tight-knit bidding clearly demonstrate the strong appeal of a selection which, since the catalogue launch, has garnered over 10,000 digital reads and more than 110,000 online views from 25,000 connected users.


Tancredi Parmeggiani's extraordinary "Untitled" from 1959 (sold for € 252,000) was at the forefront, followed by Giorgio de Chirico's iconic "Piazza d’Italia" from the 1960s (sold for € 226,800), and Carla Accardi's rare experimentation on sicofoil “Marrone” from 1972 (sold for € 189,000).

Sculpture also claimed a significant space, thanks to the mythological fascination of Fausto Melotti's beautiful "Kore" from 1954 (sold for € 138,600) and Lynn Chadwick's geometric "Winged Figures II" from 1975 (sold for € 107,100).

Also noteworthy was the appreciation for Carmelo Cappello's "Involuzione del cerchio ” from 1962 (sold for € 25,200), which has joined an important foreign collection.

The early 20th century Italian works brought great satisfaction with Gerardo Dottori's futuristic "Forze Ascensionali" from 1923 (sold for € 81,900) and a world record for Fortunato Depero's rare theater-inspired collage "Donna + rosario" from 1916 (sold for € 80,640) in the paper works category.
