A bold selection of works enlivened the enchantment of Modern and Contemporary Art on 26 and 27 November 2024.


With over €4.9 million in sales, 88% sell-through rate, and a 150% increase on starting prices, the auction reaffirms the value and vitality of Italian art in the international arena.

It is “blu dipinto di blu” that links the two top lots of the auction: the vibrant "Concetto spaziale, Attese" by Lucio Fontana (€ 640,000) and the sculptural "Blu" by Agostino Bonalumi (€ 108,800), in a dialogue that transcends the surface to explore new dimensions of space.

A profound spiritual aura emanates from the marble "Mater purissima o Maria" by Adolfo Wildt (€ 107,520); its formal purity and intense expressiveness captivated the audience, establishing it as a symbol of early 20th-century Italian art and the connection between tradition and avant-garde.


Spazi Emotional spaces and constantly shifting atmospheres are present in Tancredi's "Primavera" (€ 76,800) from 1962, whose excellent result at auction underscores the ongoing interest in the artist’s work.
