Cina, dinastia Ming (1368-1644). (difetti) Large wooden statue of Buddha Amitabha represented as Jiva (winner). Works of this quality and dimension are extremely rare. Some losses due to time, some cracks, one thumb missing. The general aspect seems to have a Sino-Tibetan influence and the sculpture may be attributed to the Ming period (1368-1644). Similar features may be found in the bodhisattvas at the Royal Ontari Bearing label of provenance Antichità Accorsi Torino.
