The work is accompanied by fine illustrations and plates engraved by Gaetano Riboldi on the drawings by Giuseppe Levati.   4to (260 x 210mm). Half-title, title with engraved vignette, illustrations and 6 folding engraved plates (tear to the upper margin of p.5, some light waterstaining, some foxing and browning). Contemporary half calf, title on label and gilt decorations on spine, speckled edges (slight losses especially on plates and extremities, spine detached from the rear cover).
