(ma ca.1750) - [LEGATO CON:] - La None Eclairee ou les delices du cloistre. Amsterdam: 1774.   A complete copy of this undated edition printed in The Hague; it's probably one of the first clandestinely editions of Boyer d'Argens' famous illustrated erotic work with 10 of the 17 plates, including frontispiece, hand-coloured at the time. Parigi: 2009, A1075*).   A very rare edition published shortly after the first of 1748 ca. of one of the first erotic works printed in any European language. The novel, based on a true and scandalous story, is an account of the relationship between Father Girard, a Catholic priest, and his penitent, Marie Catherine Cadière; Girard was finally tried and convicted in 1731. The attribution to Jean-Baptiste Boyer d'Argens, now widely accepted, was first made by the Marquis de Sade in volume VII of Nouvelle Justine (1797).   2 works in one volume of which the first in 2 parts, 8vo (194 x 122mm). First work with the first part with 76 pp. (A4-I4, K3 [-K4]), second part with 39 pp. (A4-E4).
