Naples: con cura d'Antonio Bulifon nella stamperia di Giacomo Raillard, 1691.   An interesting work containing a large-format genealogica tree of this history and genealogy of the Neapolitan Carafa family whose origins are to be found in the Sismondi of Pisa.   3 volumes, folio (306 x 211mm). Engraved frontispiece in each volume, title printed in red and black with engraved vignettes, engraved portrait on verso of the first title and a second engraved portrait after d2, many other portraits contained in large-format illustrations signed by several engravers including Hubertus Vincent and Benoit Thiboust, large genealogical tree folded several times (with tears and reinforcements, slightly cropped at lower margin - measurements 752 x 1148mm), 3 plates with engraved coats of arms, one of which folding, a plate with double page sea view, woodcut initials and decorations (some light foxing and browning, small wormtrack at the first folding plate and at gahtering A touching few letters, repaired tear at 3I4 in the third volume, frontispiece and title of the third volume slightly creased); curiously, on p. 696 in vol. 3, a paper label covers the incorrect writing "in fine". Contemporary vellum with title on spine labels (minor wear). (3)
