MAZZUCHELLI, Federigo (1672-1746) - Elementi di cavallerizza. Milan: Pietro Agnelli, 1802.   An uncut copy of the important treatise by Mazzuchelli on equestrian art. The author, a noble politician from Brescia close to Pietro Verri and Cesare Beccaria, puts his great passion and knowledge of the equestrian world to good use in this work.   4to (305 x 210mm). Half-title, elegant frontispiece with engraved portrait of the author, 6 engraved plates and 2 plates probably added from a different work (occasional staining and soiling, slight browning and foxing). Modern half-calf, gilt titles and decorations on spine, original wrappers preserved, uncut (minimal wear). The collation does not correspond to the one on SBN, and it is as follow: [A]-Y4 chi2 Y-2X4. The lot is therefore sold as described and not subject to return.
