Woodcut portrait of the author on title, some blank leaves at the end inserted by the binder (small restoration to second leaf that touches some letters, some light stains). Elegant 18th-century calf richly decorated in gilt, gilt covers, spine, dentelles and edges, marbled endpapers (very minor rubbing). Provenance: Rieu? (ancient manuscript inscription on title).
