Title with printer's device within an elaborate woodcut border, woodcut initials and tail pieces, several woodcut illustrations (inner margin of title slightly damaged, occasional staining, waterstain at the upper margin of the final gatherings). 18th-century speckled calf, gilt titles and decorations on spine and dentelles, speckled edges (corners lightly bumped, extremities rubbed). Provenance: some contemporary annotations, maniculae and underlinings in particular of the romantic passages (occasionally cropped).
