The work includes a double woodcut title, depicting with a beautiful vignette the typographic process and its workers. It also features large initials caps, among the most beautiful examples of French typography from the sixteenth century.   2 parts in one volume, folio (325 x 205mm). Title within an elaborate woodcut border, large and elegant woodcut initials (without final blank, some waterstaining heavier in final gatherings, some light foxing and browning). 19th-century quarter calf, gilt titles and decorations on spine (light wear, especially at extremities).
