[GIUDAICA] - Daz naie Tesṭamenṭ fon dem Messias. [London]: A. Machintosh, 1820.   A curious publication of the New Testament printed in Hebrew characters and promoted by the "London Society for Promoting Christianity among the Jews". It was edited by Judah D'Allemand who published Luther's text based on the edition by J. F. von Meyers (1772-1849). The language of the text should be Yiddish, but some believe it to be Judeo-German, or German. Darlow & Moule 4490.   8vo (175 x 103mm). Text in Hebrew characters (browned, occasional foxing). Contemporary calf, blindstamped decorations on covers (some rubbing). It was not possible to find a collation, but our copy is collated as follows: A-2A12, 2B6, 2C2.
