Engraved additional title in volume one and engraved title in volume two, woodcut device on title, 36 full-page portraits engraved by Giacomo Pecini and Dario Varotari, woodcut initials and headpieces; in some copies the portrait of Ridolfi is repeated in the second volume (some browning and occasional staining, some tiny marginal tears). Contemporary half calf, titles on spine labels (extremities rubbed).
